Reliable communications when and where you need it.
The GX-10 consists of two separate modules: The ODU (OutDoor
Unit) and the IDU (InDoor Unit). These two modules are connected by a single
coaxial cable.
The ODU features a helical antenna, a 2-axis stabilizer, a
GPS receiver, and a front end RFU. The ODU is shielded in a low profile cylindrical
dome roughly 5.9” (15 cm) in height and 19.3” (49 cm) in diameter.
The IDU contains an enhanced Class 10 core module with a
crystal oscillator durable enough for the shock and vibration of the road, a
wide-range (11 to 32 vdc) DC/DC Power Module and an Interface Module. All this
is housed in a small ruggedized chassis which can be mounted in the trunk,
under the dash or in a rack.
